 Boban Lazić is very talented young winger who plays for Ajax, and according to experts in the club, and Bosnia U-21 national team manager/coach, reminds in playing style to Arien Robben very much. After couple of caps for Netherlands U-17 in EURO qualifications, Lazić decided to switch his loyalty to Bosnia-Herzegovin U-21. However, his decision to play for his parents native country Bosnia instead of Serbia, which citizenship and national team call up,  based on his and of his parents ethnicity, Lazić unequivocally rejected, sparked major controversy in Serbia and Bosnia. But since then Lazić cleared the air and reaffirmed his real intention of playing for Bosnia, while rejecting all claims by media in Serbia, which in Lazić words was complete invention, made up about his future by one Serbian obscure tabloid.
